Spiritraiser is a soulful rockband flavored with influences from the many decades of rock music. The band was founded at the summer of 2005 in Helsinki, Finland by four old friends and good musicians, sharing the same passion for music and life itself. Mutual sound was found almost instantly, so the band went to studio to record their first demo, only after a month of playing together. The reception of the demo was overwhelming and the last kick to set this fucker off, was given. At the beginning of the year 2006, our live set was put to a form, from where the touring could start. Since then, the audience has never been left cold and after feeling the spirit that is present on the stage from the first screaming riff, till the last floating note, you will know that this is a true rock band, carving music from wood. Year 2007 we sailed in tail-wind. During spring and summer we recorded our debut EP "Handful of Our Soul" with Jeppe Cavonius at Md-Studio, won the first place in national "Emergenza Music Festival" band competition and represented Finland at the Nordic finals in Stockholm, Sweden. Since the beginning of '08 we have released "Apollo's Child" and are on our way back to studio in september to record some more tunes . This is not technorock!
